it’s amusing how Kevin Rudd is trying to paint himself as the Jesus of Australian politics.

It’s great to see that the only time Australian politics reaches the global news, our PM is unceremoniously being dragged to a car by police. LOL
As for the cause, it’s a pretty sad thing to have to deal with on the anniversary of the Indigenous Tent Embassy and I think it was a bad move on their part to have protests reach levels of violence. I have no idea what Tony Abbott really did say, but whatever it was, I think there are better and more honourable way to deal with it.
And just in response to one particular protester who said: “give us our sovereignty or piss off out of our country”, that kind of proves you are no different to Tony Abbott and other racists when they say: “Stop the boats” relating to immigration policies. I was kind of disappointed when I heard that because I thought Indigenous people were the one Australian group who had the least problem with our multicultural society.
Sovereignty is a right to which I think everyone should be entitled, but don’t try and make it about where people should belong.
Gahhhhh, it made me kind of mad.
